REGISTRATION OPENS UP IN APRIL 2026. 

 

 

We’re thrilled to announce that beginning in 2026, our local football community is coming together like never before!

 

3 Ottawa-Based Programs — Ottawa Buccaneers, Wolfpack Athletics, and the Ottawa Youth Football League (OYFL) — are uniting to deliver the best possible football and cheer experience for kids across the area.

 

 

THE GAME PLAN

 

Starting with the biggest announcement, FLAG FOOTBALL THRU 8th GRADE!

 

Ottawa Youth FLAG Football

• Continuing the 52 Year Tradition of OYFL

• A collaboration with OYFL, Ottawa Bucs, & Wolfpack Athletics

• Flag football will be offered for Kindergarten through 8th Grade

• Schedules will be coordinated with Ottawa Soccer Club to allow kids to participate in both

 

 

Wolfpack Athletics – TACKLE Football

• Full-contact tackle football program

• Ages 7-13

 

Cheer – Operated under OYFL

•Doreen & Bunny will still lead the Cheer program

• Cheerleaders will have the unique opportunity to perform at both Wolfpack and OYFL home games

• Keeps athletes close to home and engaged with both programs

• A unified approach to growing our cheer community!

 

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: OYFL Flag Football & Wolfpack Tackle Football are the only current Ottawa-Based Football Programs. The OSM Eagles (Ottawa-Seneca-Morris) are a Seneca/Morris Based Program.
